Two of my favourite LJers seem to be having some upsets in their lives (no names, you'll know who you are), then I get to find this poor young woman on another site I lurk on who's into self-harm. Now the news is nothing but Bali ball-bearing injuries. What....

Thanks goodness I've got some training in dealing with stuff. Really, all that's happened is that several bad things seem to have shown up at the same time. Without that, all this unpleasantness could be most depressing.

On the plus side, I seem to be back in touch with my favourite friend, R, who is once again delighting me with her gorgeous Gothic shopping requirements. Her latest must haves are from this site: http://www.artwithlatex.com/ Major yum and greeow factor!

I'm also making new friends all over the place. I've met a couple of people from dating sites, and one of them looks like she's going to turn into a good friend.
